Here's a list of all the upcoming conferences coming, which will probably be held online; https://www.e3countdown.com/ I would personally watch for SONY : Still the biggest leader in the game industry. While the chip shortage might affect the sales of their PS5, most of their profits in the game industry comes from games and online services. Potential big announcements and trailers; God of War 2, more info on Horizon, Ratchet, potential remakes and such. MICROSOFT: Same as sony, a big contender in the industry, not so much with the console itself but the services and wide range of features offered to gamers. NINTENDO: THis one has been on a silent rise but the announcement of a potential new Zelda, Metroid or IP might spike it up a bit. GAME COMPANY: UBISOFT: UBSFY (OTC) might also be in interesting play even for the short term. I just saw an ad on YouTube promoting their upcoming conference, Ubi Forward. EA: After their usual debacles and predatory management, their stock always takes a hit, but one Battlefront game announcement is enough to rake in some big upward movement in their ticker. Other and mores: Actvision; ATVI, same as EA. Do not forget they merged with Blizzard. AMD: They're heavily involved with game publishers and they sometimes make brief appearances during the PC Conference. Keep your eyes open. Square Enix, Capcom, SEGA; Being JPY stocks, you can mostly trade them as OTC stocks but they might still be interesting swing plays. This was my 1st DD so be easy on me. submitted by /u/alfen-dave [link] [comments]

  1. Market creeping downward? (02/05/2021 - Reddit Stocks)
I got into stocks about 8 months ago, and made myself a pretty penny after a lot of very lucky picks. I started at $200, at now at $3300, with sticking to my original goal of turning $200 into $100,000. (Far stretch obviously, but I enjoy playing without putting significant skin in the game) I got a 401k and several CD’s and Roth IRA for that, so this is a game for me. But onto the point, as of the past month, I’ve seen everything plummet, and now the nasdaq is beginning to follow suit, is this normal? Everything seems to have come to a screeching halt, and hasn’t really made any real moves. Now I know this happens, but something feels odd, when my entire watch list (50+ different stocks ranging in price from $100-.035) have no significant changes despite good news and catalyst. What I’m asking is, could this stock market climb we watched before be coming to an end? Thoughts? submitted by /u/alexrabbit929 [link] [comments]

  3. What 3 stocks would you pick if you had to pick 3 and throw the password away for 10 years? (01/03/2021 - Reddit Stocks)
My picks would be : NVDA, SQ, and STPK as my long shot. I think there could be some smaller stocks that obviously grow more but as far as established investments I think Nvidia will be in basically every single sector using some sort of tech and AI. SQ could be the future of our entire finance, and STPK is a green tech pick that has huge potential in a up and coming industry. I like genomics too but not sure which one I’d pick Honorable mentions for me : CRSP, TDOC, and BEAM. submitted by /u/bignut09 [link] [comments]

I realize he bought into most of his positions this past December and that's part of the game, but which stocks that he's holding still hold value for regular investors such as myself? I see many of his picks are at or have recently been at ATH's. I enjoy looking at his picks because they aren't the typical calls to buy apple, tesla, and amazon which for a small time investor like myself are out of reach. 10. So tech is rotating to value. Can value sustain the rotation long term? (13/05/2021 - Reddit Stocks)
Ok. So I understand that the money is coming from the overbought tech names, and in the no earning high multiples, rightfully so, and going into the "value" "cyclicals", whatever those are. It of course seems to be coming from most tech and growth though regardless, just more so from SQ and names like that. I understand it's mostly going or has gone into banks, materials, cyclicals. I'm sure this will work in the short term with the reopening (let's see how that goes) and infrastructure spending, but do you think these companies can sustain earnings for another 5 years or will the money eventually find its way back to tech names? I'm assuming though that people will be very cautious around certain tech growth names though maybe for a year or two, so they will take a while to get close to where they were. submitted by /u/apooroldinvestor [link] [comments]

  16. What are your value short term picks to buy when the selloff stops? (06/03/2021 - Reddit Stocks)
I have been researching many stocks that took a big beating trying to pick my next buys to ride the wave after the market stops freefalling. Unfortunately money is limited and I don't want to get locked up in bad value picks that stay stagnant. I am not speaking of meme stocks either. I feel there are some good recovery plays in the travel and fuel industry. I believe there would be value in more traditional stock rather than high tech ones given the absurdly abstract valuations these days. Companies that have an established product. I am watching oxy, trvg, amd and tsm (long term hold on this one). I am looking to reap some short term gains to divert into long term value picks. I’m very new to investing and put a bunch into the ARK funds (W, G, F, K) pretty much right at the peak before this crash. I am very long term with this 10-20 years. I do not need the money right now, but it is still really hard to watch this red. I just wonder what you guys think about these funds, which are basically the tech industry, right? Is the tech industry going to recover? Or was it only up so high because of covid? In 10-20 years, will this be a good investment? Or should I cut my losses now and go into something more safe like spy and VOO? I thought I believed in ark, and the companies they invest in, but I’ve been hearing more and more about tech not being able to recover and it was only up due to covid? Should I be concerned? submitted by /u/kevinmuff2 [link] [comments]

  25. All tech stocks are getting massive amounts of volume currently. Expect NQ to push to and continue past all time highs the coming weeks. (11/04/2021 - Reddit Stocks)
We saw a rotation out of tech late March into value (according to CNBC, seems like bs to me), but now tech giants are getting massive pumps of volume, in my opinion you should see the NASDAQ coming out of this sideways movement back into all time highs, and push even higher than that. If you check RSI on most tech stocks, AAPL, FB, ADBE, (I know everyone hates Cramer but FAANG), they all follow the same chart. They get overbought for a certain period then come near oversold, all at the same times. From what we've seen the past few years in the RSI, it seems that we are halfway through an overbought period, nice for short term gains. It's actually laughable how similar all these companies charts are, but some of them are breaking out before others, like FB, AMZN, GOOGL are pretty much confirmed already, I'm hopping on some other tech for short term. Although I think there will be another correction by June or July, with more worries about the bond market and inflation most likely, you should see a nice bull market in tech innovative for a little while. submitted by /u/nibdoe [link] [comments]

Dow Jones P/E: 33.44 S&P 500 P/E: 45.02 NASDAQ P/E: 37.25 Am I missing something? NASDAQ contains stocks that have growth rates that are higher than the Dow Jones and S&P 500, in sectors that are essential and used by almost everyone in the first world, yet people refer to buying stocks that are contained in the other major indexes as "value picks"? If the NASDAQ was to dip even 10% further than it is now it would be significantly undervalued when compared to the other major indexes. I just released my incremental game to Google Play Store and I was wondering a good place to receive some feedback. I hope it's ok to post the game here. I am not really looking for downloads, I just need some feedback to keep the game going. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tapwrath.dividends It's a stock market themed game where you start at the brazilian stock market and evolve to other countries (not implemented yet). The main goal is to accumulate money by receiveing dividends, so you can buy more stock shares and keep it going. But I don't want it to be like a inferior version of Adventure Capitalist. I would like it to be different and deliver more then just accumulating money, but right now I am lacking of good ideas and starting to doubt if I made a good decision when I started developing this game. I decided to publish the game as it is to gather feedback and make things going. But it's difficult to get the first players. What do you think? Should I invest in this game with new features or just give up on this ideia and work on something else? Any feedback will be appreciated. submitted by /u/dafuqherby [link] [comments]
