  1. ZKIN 2h Outlook (23/04/2021 - Reddit Stock Market)
Last time we've taken a look at a higher time frame than our usual 15m one, it was a daily time frame. The bias of this daily time frame remains unchanged, price found support at trend line and we look at least for a oversold correction to $7 area. Can the smaller hourly time frame confirm this bias? As we've said yesterday, we've spotted an important aspect about the chart on larger time frame than the 15m one and now we are bringing it to you. It seems as the price has formed a trend reversal inverted head and shoulders pattern. A clear break above $5.60 can confirm the pattern break to the upside, however a break above $6 will be a strong confirmation. Yet a break above $5.90 could be enough to see stronger extended gains. The hourly overall downtrend now lasts almost a whole month and this trend is not likely to continue as it's very overextended, oversold bounded to a correction higher. If the price breaks above $5.60, we look the hourly trend to change into an overall uptrend again. RSI continues to fail break above 60 bringing bullish momentum into play as the trend is still a downtrend. MACD is on a buying wave and bullish pressure is increasing. Key resistance levels. $5.80 $6.00 $6.33 (pivot resistance), if the price gets stuck here, we may see a bigger inverted head and shoulders pattern. $6.80 $7.15 If we have to summarize the recent price action, the dips were bought and lack of bearish presence is surely a concern for bears which could lead to potential reversal as price action is suggesting. submitted by /u/imphare [link] [comments]

  5. ZKIN 15m Outlook (20/05/2021 - Reddit Stock Market)
Since the last outlook the price of ZKIN has dropped by 2% as it's being traded for $4.34 per share. On the hourly outlook we have spotted a falling wedge pattern which had bias to break to the upside. This pattern has broke to the upside yes, but the gains were pretty mediocre as they were capped at $4.60 per share. The minor pivot resistance has been tested 4 times in a row with a series of unsuccessful tests which eventually led to a breakdown to good known support at $4.30. The price action seems to be creating a rounded top pattern, which has bias to break to the downside, below $4.30. Currently we are seeing that the price is testing the support at $4.30 and has created a new lower low, following the pivot low at $4.34 by a low at $4.30. What are indicators suggesting, will the price recover or fall below $4.30? A break below $4.30 will surely not be ideal as there is little support below it and could lead to some serious losses. RSI has failed to break above 60 several this. This failed break above 60 is connected with price action being unable to break above $4.60. MACD wave indicator is currently suggesting that a selling wave is present and the bearish volume is increasing. Overall trend on this short time frame is a strong downtrend. A break below $4.30 will lead to extended losses to $4.20. submitted by /u/imphare [link] [comments]

  18. Goodmorning Traders ... Short week +Volatility holding = big move... my 3/30/21 Premarket outlook Technical Analysis on the SPY (30/03/2021 - Reddit Stock Market)
Good morning Traders, Short week +Volatility holding = big move... I will go thru the spy chart in the video below but looking at things this morning here is how to interpret things... Premarket outlook 3 30 21 ???? Short week +Volatility holding = big move... Before I get into today's theme, let me go back and clear up something I said yesterday. Short Squeeze and gamma squeeze are very similar but not quite the same. As I explained, the short squeeze is when a lot of traders take one side of a trade (let's say short like the spy on Friday for example) and due to either time or lack of available shares on float, the trade goes the opposite direction causing a sharp jump in price because of short covering (which is the buying back to close positions). Team short covering with normal buy side activity and you have an influx of buying that causes the sharp price jump. On the other hand, a Gamma squeeze is when the underlying stock's price begins to go up very quickly within a short period of time. As more money flows into call options from investors, that forces more buying activity which can lead to higher stock price. Getting back to today's theme, we have a 4-day trading week. Yesterday internals seem to peak around 3pm and then turned over kind of setting the tone for today. Also, even thru the positive gains early in the day Volatility never really backed off. Market makers expected move is at 402.8 on the top side and 389.16. We also have a new month starting on Thursday. Just from these things Its possible to get a big drop today and then bounce back on Thursday to close the week. So, Let's look at the possible outcomes for today. 1) if we hold below resistance of 396area we look for the following dominos to fall break of 394 area opens up path to 390area. Then break of 390 area opens up path to 388 area and below. From the open you may have to be quick because it could happen fast and may only retest 395 area. 2) we hold support at the 390 area look for consolidation between the 391 area and the 396 area before break out higher or lower. 3) We break thru resistance area of 396 which opens a path to 400. Either way buckle up because it seems to be a volatile 2 days ahead. 1) if we hold below resistance of 396area we look for the following dominos to fall break of 394 area opens up path to 390area. Then break of 390 area opens up path to 388 area and below. 20. $BB Technical Analysis (11/03/2021 - Reddit Stocks)
Hi guys, your daily pumper here. It's looking like the downtrend is over and we are in the recovery phase. It has been a long 6 week downtrend but I'm happy we stopped out at ~9 USD and have a green week. We got above $10 nicely and now it's ~$11 we are fighting for. A lot of open interest at $11 so I am hopeful that those who have the cash to buy stock will pump it up so tomorrow's contracts may be in the money. I think we can secure $11 tomorrow, today we are up over 3% on the LOWEST volume day we've had in 2 months. Crazy. People are buying and holding. I like that. That being said I would not be shocked to see it red tomorrow and retest $10. RSI is close to overbought on the hourly but the Bollinger bands are VERY tight. Might be a signal to break out. Hard to say what happens tomorrow. Why is $14.44 significant? Thats where the dead-cat/falling knife bounce happened. A lot of shares were purchased/sold at that time and it acted as resistance shortly after, and again a few days later. If ~14.44 is secured, and if we retrace and it acts as support, then the bull trend will continue. If not then we might be in trouble and could be a false rally. I don't believe this will happen, there's a lot of eyes on BB and their upcoming financials and the latest news about BB working with AWS cloud infrastructure in the government in my opinion is a license to print money, and institutions wanna know how much money BB received from Huwaei and FB. RSI on the daily and 4-hour charts are looking healthy. I'd like the Bollinger bands to contract a bit more but hey, that's fine with me if it holds the smaller upwards trendline. Cybersecurity is a major threat and only gets worse as days go on, BB is best in class in this aspect. Keep holding my friends, you're in a great position if you bought or averaged down in the last week. Take care. submitted by /u/Virtual-Pin1025 [link] [comments]

I'm learning about options, and I am confused about the Break Even on Webull. Should the breakeven not represent when the premium equals the difference between the strike and its current price? On Webull, the chart shows this, but there is also another breakeven in the options chart. For instance, on the GoPro 52 call for March 12, the ask is 13.10. Meaning the breakeven should be 65.10 given the stock is currently trading at 62.84. Why does it list 59.30 as the breakeven? Is this just for the option if I decide to sell it before exercising? In short, what does this represent? submitted by /u/zenoblade [link] [comments]

  31. Technical Analysis on $FSLY Using Both Hourly and Daily Timeframes (27/02/2021 - Reddit Stock Market)
Greetings Ladies and Gentlemen, Students and Professionals of this Fine Art of the Trade, As the title suggests, in this post I will be discussing $FSLY on the short and intermediate terms of time (or at least, in our illusive perception of a linear nature in time ????). I will keep this post concisely educational, for, as Einstein himself stated, "Everything should be as simple as possible, but no simpler." First, let's look at the hourly chart, Chart #1, which can be found here: https://imgur.com/a/cLns77O . It is demonstrating sharp positive divergences in both the widely popular Relative Strength Index (RSI) as well as one of my personal favorite--the True Strength Index (TSI). The positive divergences are highlighted as with the yellow translucent lines I added. Divergences historically resolve with a reversal in price into the direction of the indicators. A historical example of how a positive divergence typically resolves can actually be found earlier in $FSLY's own short history: the divergence was from 10/19/20 to 10/30/20 and resolved with a shift in prices into a rally that started on 11/2/20 and continued well into December until consolidation during Christmas week; this can be seen through my illustrated chart, Chart "2, which can be found here: https://m.imgur.com/a/sNbKWoe . Finally, onto the daily chart, for, it is good practice to see how a shorter-term analysis, such as the one I have done in the hourly chart, fits into the puzzle on the grander scheme of things. In my Chart #3--which can be found here: https://imgur.com/a/Ck4Ilxr --one can first see that $FSLY's current price as of 02/26/21 is at the bottom (final 1/8 bar) of the major surge in the volume shelf calculated since the apex of the March 2020 correction (03/17/20). Furthermore, at the current price of $73.58, it is below both the 03/17/20-anchored VWAP ($81.83) as well as the 200-day MA ($83.19), which are both historically common retrace targets in either bullish or bearish trends for any ticker of the market. Additionally, the $FSLR daily Williams %R has been quite extended in extremely oversold territory (-91 and below -80 since 02/12/21) with the MACD being extended down to similar levels it was at 10/30/20 right before its major reversal. Lastly, the price is approaching the bottom of the Darvas box, coinciding with, again, the apex of the previous sell-off: 10/30/20. Henceforth, the daily chart compliments what was analyzed using the hourly chart as they both have the same implications: a reversal in this bearish price action into a bullish rally may be imminent in the short-term and/or intermediate-term future. I hope this information may be useful to some of you, and If so, perhaps give it an upvote and me a follow. Furthermore, any constructive feedback/discussion is always welcomed. Thank You, Saad Chaudhry Perennial Synergy Ventures Appendix: Chart #1: https://imgur.com/a/cLns77O Chart #2: https://m.imgur.com/a/sNbKWoe Chart #3: https://imgur.com/a/Ck4Ilxr submitted by /u/PerennialSynergy [link] [comments]

Then the price tried to get back into the $8.40 - $9.00 area, but the gains were capped at $8.50 where a pivot was created. After this denial the price broke below $7.80 which led to extended losses to $7.30 area. The price has dipped below $7.30 level all the way to $6.90 where losses were capped and dip was bought. As dips still continue to attract buyers this oversold dip was bought and the price is currently testing the previous support, which acts as a resistance now at $7.80 per share. A break above $7.80 will lead to extended gains to $8.40. A break below $7.20 will lead to extended losses to $6.70. The price has to break above $7.80 shortly in order to change the short term trend into an uptrend as EMA's started to point towards a downtrend. RSI has bounced from the oversold zone below 40, but is again on thin ice as it's holding at 40 level. MACD is in a second strong selling wave and is testing a change into a buy signal. However a third selling wave can still be seen. Such correction as we seeing now could have been expected as yesterday ZKIN saw strong gains. What is important that the daily trend now consists of higher lows. https://preview.redd.it/onyt6wniyen61.jpg?width=1280&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=991a114f0a427e4b67d7a560f9d43cbc583532d8 submitted by /u/BreianaOlson [link] [comments]

  36. AMD’s price pattern... (25/02/2021 - Reddit Stocks)
AMD is at 82$ right now! AMD is a very solid company that makes semiconductors (which are in HIGH demand right now). If you look at AMD’s hourly chart, it is clear to see that its price is moving sinusoidally around the 100SMA and the price is at a low point right now. 37. Blackberry just can’t catch a break (16/02/2021 - Reddit Stocks)
It seems like every day there is some sort of positive article about this company, then followed by a downgrade. What gives? Why is this company so hated when others like Palantir are loved? There’s so much to be excited about like Amazon, Baidu partnership, but this stock sells off as soon as it gets some steam behind it. Holding 3,800+ shares at an $18.65 cost average. You can see why I’m pretty depressed and upset about it.. submitted by /u/just_lick_my_ass [link] [comments]

  41. Investors: Make sure you all understand and know how to calculate your “Break-Even Rate”. (23/03/2021 - Reddit Stocks)
Inflation and taxes can easily erode your profits/gains over time. Especially when you enter and exit trades consistently over the long-term or if your investments are placed in a non-tax sheltered account. Your break-even rate is the rate of return you need to make just to keep up your purchasing power level, not including brokerage fees. To calculate, first estimate the rate of inflation you expect to experience over the next year, you can refer to the Bureau of Labour statistics (BLS) which also publishes the Consumer price index (CPI) which is a measure of inflation. To calculate your break-even rate you can use the formula: (i) / (100 - E) = B B: Break-even rate I: Inflation E: Effective tax-rate Ex. If you assume a (2%) inflation over the coming year and your combined tax rate is 44% then your break even rate is: 2% / (100 - 44) = (3.6%). 3.6% net on your portfolio to maintain your purchasing power. Earning this rate does not provide any real profits, it only maintains the value of your investments. If you are earning less than your break-even rate after taxes and inflation have been taken into account, you are actually losing money on your total investments and may have to accept high risk just to maintain your purchasing power. submitted by /u/Mynameistowelie [link] [comments]

  42. ZKIN 15m Outlook (17/05/2021 - Reddit Stock Market)
Since the last outlook the price of ZKIN has fell by almost 3%. As the price failed to hold above key support at $4.50, a breakdown has occurred. This breakdown led to extended losses to $4.30, where the dip was capped. Since then the price has been trying to break above key resistance at $4.50, but so far unsuccessfully. The break above $4.50 is necessary in order to bring the short term uptrend. The break of $4.50 also represents the break above the 50 EMA. Dip at $4.30 has created a new lower high, positive sign. But as the tests of $4.50 were unsuccessful we look for a retest of the trend of lower highs, a dip which has to be bought in order to break the $4.50 resistance. Current resistance is at $4.50, while support is at $4.30. Indicators. RSI is pointing towards on overall trend of higher lows. MACD is not giving a reliable signal, but it seems like the recent price action was mostly based on selling volume, so we would expect a buying one to follow up. Overall EMA trends remains an downtrend as the price continues to fail to find support at 20 or 50 EMA. Each time the price breaks above these levels, it breaks back below them. submitted by /u/imphare [link] [comments]

  45. ZKIN Outlook. Buy now signal? (28/04/2021 - Reddit Stock Market)
Since the last outlook the price of ZKIN has increased by only 1,8%. The price action failed to break below $6.36 as losses were capped at $6.41, which attracted buyers that bought the dip and the flag pattern resulted to break to the upside. This break to the upside led to extended gains to $7.15, where bespoke resistance is located, creating a new higher high. The gains failed to hold at $7.15 as they got denied which has resulted in sell off with losses reaching $6.38. This dip to $6.38 was bought and the price is currently testing a break above $6.70 which is likely to attract bullish volume to at least $7 per share. Indicators. RSI continues to move in new trend of higher lows and pretty close to 60, which break of will lead to bullish momentum being present. MACD continues to be in buying and is currently confirming a start of another buying wave as two increasing histogram columns are being printed. Overall trend however is still a downtrend as the 20 EMA is below the 50. Yet, the 20 EMA is about to crossover or the 50 EMA giving both momentum and buy indication. submitted by /u/BreianaOlson [link] [comments]

  46. Wash Sale question (11/05/2021 - Reddit Stocks)
So I’m pretty dang new to trading, this morning I woke up to my fidelity account saying they sold 30.00 of my shares because of a “wash sale”. I tried to do research and found out that it’s an IRS rule stating that you can’t sell a stock and buy the same stock within 30 days or the losses from before are rolled onto the newly bought stocks. My whole issue is.....I never sold a single stock in the first place, all I’ve done is bought and forgot.... any help would be appreciated. Sorry if this is a question everyone asks. submitted by /u/PosterOfStinkyShits [link] [comments]

  47. How to deal with losses? (08/03/2021 - Reddit Stocks)
Currently holding SENS and SQ. I'm down significantly on both trades, but didn't sell for a minor loss, because I was expecting a quicker recovery. Clearly that didn't happen, so should I sell for the major loss or hold out until break even or profit? In general, what's your walk away for swing and longterm trades? submitted by /u/CMShortboy [link] [comments]
