  7. What else is there than tech? (12/03/2021 - Reddit Stocks)
I work in IT and all I always cared is IT companies or companies that work with IT as their business model. Digitalization, Cloud and network hardware is the only area I actually know B2B products and what is good and what not. Obviously I have a very tech overweight portfolio now, which performed great, but became kind of a risk as a big amount of my savings is in it. What other sectors are hot? I bought some pharmaceuticals like Novartis and Roche, but they're more dividend stocks. I looked at LMT which is a great pick for drone and space technologies becoming more important in different industries. But other than that I don't really know what to out my money in. 10. What sectors do you think are going to be hot this summer? (26/05/2021 - Reddit Stocks)
The last 8 months I've been riding on trends just before they took off. I rode the clean energy wave after the election and got a big return (was like 60%+). Then I shifted over to retail and got a good payout from q4 2020-q1 2021 returns. Both of those sectors puttered out so I shifted my money to industrials and health care earlier in the year. Now it feels like those two sectors are starting to putter out and I'm genuinely not sure what sectors are going to be pumping next. Would be great if there was a list of sector tickers that I could quickly glance over to see which sectors were currently bearish or bullish. I guess I could compile a list of sector tickers and check it every morning, the downside to that is that there are a crap done of sectors and that would take me a long time. I recently sold all of my positions I didn't see a future in anymore as they were still relics from when I first started out and didn't really know what I was doing. Some I sold at a slight loss, on others I broke even, but now I want to restructure my portfolio. I'm currently invested in 3 sectors but that'll turn into 2 once I take profits on my biotech positions as biotech typically performs really well around this time of year. So the 2 sectors that I'm left with are tech and cannabis, which have both done very well for me, but now I want to add back to my portfolio and I'm not sure which sectors to look into. I'd appreciate any info/ advice! submitted by /u/diamondtoes_69 [link] [comments]
