GameStop disclosed on April 5, 2021 that it had filed a prospectus supplement with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission to offer and sell up to a maximum of 3,500,000 shares of its common stock from time to time through the ATM Offering. The Company ultimately sold 3,500,000 shares of common stock and generated aggregate gross proceeds before commissions and offering expenses of approximately $551,000,000. Net proceeds will be used to continue accelerating GameStop’s transformation as well as for general corporate purposes and further strengthening the Company’s balance sheet. This is amazing news. GME sold 3.5 mil shares at ~$157 to raise 550 mil. The company has zero debt and now has signicant money to fund their transformation moving forward. Stock is currently up 12% in AH, reaching $190. GME is now primed for another run and the highly anticipated short squeeze is that much closer to reality. https://gamestop.gcs-web.com/news-releases/news-release-details/gamestop-completes-market-equity-offering-program submitted by /u/nams0 [link] [comments]

  37. Divergence between OBTC and GBTC (01/03/2021 - Reddit Stock Market)
Wasn’t sure If this belongs here or on r/bitcoin. As I write this OBTC (Osprey Bitcoin trust) and GBTC (greyscale Bitcoin trust) and trading in opposite directions. They both have the same underlying (Bitcoin). Why would one be -15% but the other +7% ? What am I missing? Most people are familiar with Bitcoin and GBTC. GBTC let’s you track Bitcoin but comes with a premium to Bitcoin and high fees. OBTC is very new, and is a low cost way to track BTC in your brokerage or IRA. Looking thru the news I don’t see anything about OBTC at all, so I’m not sure why the sell off especially when Bitcoin is up about 7% today. Anyone know what could be causing the drop in OBTC? submitted by /u/bender26102015 [link] [comments]

  49. Technicals in focus (25/02/2021 - Reddit Stock Market)
Ok guys I'm watching these charts and watching the markets break down a little bit on some key technicals. I have been saying for many a week that the markets are top heavy. So the #DOW is flirting with it's 20 day moving average. Both the #S&P and #NASDAQ are sitting below their 50 day moving average. A wise man once told me when this is seen to buy protection on the things you own and love. And I say be prepared for a very choppy ride as we approach next month. Key anniversaries. Take a look at the charts going back 30 years. This last year of this pandemic Bull run has gone parabolic. Invest with caution my friends. Me personally, with what little money I have I am buying puts in techs. Because of the parabolic nature. And calls in volatility via VXX, UVXY. And I'm dabling in cryptos a bit. submitted by /u/endi1133 [link] [comments]
