  13. MindMed: the only trip to the Moon that doesn’t require 14 days of quarantine ???????? ???? (25/04/2021 - Reddit Stock Market)
MMED is a psychedelic medicine/biotech company that studies how psychedelics help treat depression. The reality is that most have already confirmed their studies to be true in college. ????????? MindMed has been trading OTC so only brokers that allow OTC trading let you buy it. The upcoming up-listing changes that. They announced that they will begin trading on the Nasdaq on Tuesday, April 27, 2021 under the symbol: MNMD. Why MMED should be considered: The Nasdaq listing allows more money to flow in (after April 27 robinhooders can throw YOLO money into it) Sector specific subs like r/PsychedelicBets are growing fast and maturing. Psychedelic market will likely be the next drug market to boom (It still is relatively new market, more research and potential catalyst in the future + amazing research coming out of it) The research is golden re depression and younger generations are seeing rising depression cases while most treatment for depression is poor. Other mental health issues they are studying to treat are; anxiety, addiction and ADHD. Mr. Wonderful is invested in it (I hate celebrity endorsements but O’Leary did mention MindMed to Cathie Wood in a four panel interview on CNBC a week or two ago. So possible Cathie Wood interest after listing and we all know how that goes...) NOTE: I am not a financial advisor. I just like the stock, the research, and know what these medicines are capable of myself. submitted by /u/scrodent [link] [comments]

  16. Trading Psychology Question - Assistance Please (20/05/2021 - Reddit Stocks)
Hey, guys! Thanks for taking time to read this. This is my first post here, but I know you are best equipped to handle this over the other subs I follow. I know my strengths, and I also know my weaknesses. It's my recognized weakness I need assistance with. Like many, I started in the markets last year. My 1099 for 2020 was a $22,000 loss in the biggest bull run in history. My 2021 is at $0 due to exiting positions at my CB out of fear of further losses. I feel you need to understand more about me to offer more sound advice, so, in short: I'm in my late 30s. I spent most of my 20s in and out of homelessness. Sleeping in basements of relatives, friends couches, out of my Jeep Cherokee. I was a failure. The only thing good in my life, was the love of my life, who left me due to me being such a financial disaster. I tried. I really did. I just always failed. After she left, I fell into alcohol, prescription drugs, and depression. I eventually tried the only thing I hadn't tried - crime. I failed at that, too. I did 4 years in prison. Since I was released 4 years ago, I have tried to start over. Nobody will hire me now. It took me a solid year to find an employer willing to give me a chance. I work 12 hours a day, 7 days a week, and finally earn a 6 figure salary. The problem is it's killing me. I now have a 180 resting blood pressure and a 14 cortisol level. I'm dying. I can't sustain this forever. I'm trying to use this opportunity to get ahead while I can. Now I keep failing. My issue: I don't trust myself. I spend hours on DD, and will have a few stocks I like - companies I believe in. I'll wait for an entry, but when it comes, I'm scared to buy it. I hesitate. Then it rallies. Then I get anxiety because I missed it. I get depressed because I was right but failed to act. I can't chase it now because that's what led to my 2020 losses - chasing something only to buy in just before it consolidates. Then I'm depressed because I'm failing again. It's like, when the price comes down, I'm scared to buy because it might go lower and I fail. If it goes higher, I don't buy it because I feel like a sucker for not buying it at the lower price yesterday. Then it rallies, and then I get depression anxiety over missing it. Sometimes just having my mouse over the buy button can cause a panic attack. Normally I would say I just need to index, but I don't have 30 years to index. I may have another 2 years in me before this job kills me. I will never have another opportunity like this being a felon. I'm trying to seize opportunity and finally make a good enough gain, that I can then invest much more conservatively moving forward. My 2 losses last year would have been my biggest gains had I held - my DD was correct. Even my price targets were correct. I couldn't trust myself. I tried to learn from this. Now I was up $80,000 YTD on 3 positions, but now I have $0 because I rode them all the way down trying not to panic sell like last year. If I hold - I fail. If I sell - I fail. I'm obviously good at picking winners, but how do I get out of my own way? Every time I act, I was wrong. Every time I fail to act, I was right. How can I ever trust myself given my history? How can I learn to overcome this mental obstacle - this crippling doubt? I'm really trying to be a winner, but I'm really losing heart. submitted by /u/WallStreetSewerGator [link] [comments]

  17. First Psychedelic Med ETF: PSY (08/06/2021 - Reddit Stocks)
Anyone else feeling bullish on PSY? The first psychedelic medicine ETF. Top holdings include medical psychedelics, ketamine, and cannabis stocks. I’d been wanting to invest in Charlottes Web but it wasn’t available on my platforms and PSY holds it! Investor Place article shared details to know about it: PSY is the first psychedelic stocks ETF. While it’s the first, it hasn’t been around for long. The ETF was only just set up at the end of May. PSY’s focus is on investing in psychedelic stocks that can be used to treat mental illnesses. That includes depression, which it points out is a growing problem. That comes from claims that as many as 30% of depression patients aren’t responding to current treatments. It also says that research budgets for psychiatric medicine have declined by 70% at large companies. PSY believes that this presents an opportunity for new treatments making use of psychedelic treatments to meet growing demand. These treatments could potentially be used for those suffering from “anxiety, PTSD, OCD, eating disorders, depression” and more. The ETF says that it looks to track the BITA Medical Psychedelics, Cannabis, and Ketamine Index. It mentions that companies in the index must have a market cap of at least $75 million. They must also be connected to the medical psychedelics, medical cannabis, or ketamine industries in some way. Its top holdings include Charlottes Web (OTCMKTS:CWBHF), Aurora Cannabis (NASDAQ:ACB), Cronos Group (NASDAQ:CRON), Corbus Pharmaceuticals (NASDAQ:CRBP), and Supreme Cannabis. submitted by /u/plausiblyacat [link] [comments]

  18. Mindmed will be the ULTIMATE COVID 19 vs Mental Health and Addictions play of the DECADE! ???????????????? (24/04/2021 - Reddit Stock Market)
According to the World Health Organization (WHO), "The COVID 19 pandemic has disrupted/halted critical mental health services in 93% of countries world wide, while the demand for mental health is increasing". The world has come to a stop and mental health and addiction issues are not only at all time highs, but these issues are also falling through the cracks. The pandemic is increasing the need for mental health and addiction services due to social isolation, loss of income/financial stability and fear (WHO 2020). All of these issues are exacerbating + worsening problems in mental health and addiction (WHO 2020). Don't forget that COVID 19 itself can lead to neurological problems and mental complications such as delirium, agitation, and stroke according to current research. IN STEPS MINDMED (ticker MMED, MMEDF ---- uplist ticker MNMD on Tuesday April 27th) Mindmed uplist is happening at a pivotal time in this pandemic. The company focuses its efforts on bringing "psychedelic treatment to the forefront through research ultimately creating a new toolset for mental health and addiction" (Mindmed 2021). MINDMED IS THE FUTURE Psychedelics have anecdotally been known to help mental health/illness. This company has a large hand in creating the necessary research/trials that will assist widespread adoption of psychedelic treatment for the reduction of anxiety, depression ADHD and addiction. They currently have phase 2a trials with compounds such as psilocybin and LSD. MINDMED IS A DISRUPTOR! BIG PHARMA focuses on pumping and pushing pills to mask symptoms. MINDMED offers real solutions for mental health conditions/issues. "We are currently researching and developing a broad range of compounds with the goal of unlocking new pathways for patients to experiment SUSTAINED mental healing"(Mindmed 2021). THIS IS REVOLUTIONARY + A GAME CHANGER For mental health and addiction, especially in these uncertain times. There will be a major catalyst for price action movement on Tuesday April 27th once it uplists to the NASDAQ under the ticker symbol MNMD. You can get in Monday before uplist with ticker symbol MMED (Canadian), MMEDF (US). It has easily touched $6 in the past. After Tuesdays uplist I can easily see this headed past $10 to $18 (This is not financial advice)???????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? submitted by /u/Whyitgottabeblack [link] [comments]

  20. MindMed: the only trip to the Moon that doesn’t require 14 days of quarantine ???????? (25/04/2021 - Reddit Stock Market)
MindMed is a psychedelic medicine biotech company that studies how shrooms, LSD, and even MDMA and DMT can help treat depression. Honestly, I already confirmed their studies to be true in college. Anyways, MindMed has been trading OTC in like Canada's market or something (I guess there are companies that exist outside the USA) so only brokers that allow OTC trading let you buy it. As of today though not anymore! They announced that they will begin trading on the Nasdaq on Tuesday, April 27, 2021 under the symbol: MNMD. Reasons I’m invested: 1 To get in before Nasdaq listing (not too late to do so) 2 Always saw the psychedelic market to be the next drug market to boom (It still is relatively new market, more research and potential catalyst in the future) 3 I believe in the research (our generation is like number 1 in rising depression cases and most treatment for depression sucks. This research can be revolutionary for depressed apes that Yolo'd too many FDs or actual depressed apes that aren't retards.[Edit: Other mental health issues they are studying to treat are; anxiety, addiction and ADHD]) 4 Kevin O'leary AKA Mr. Wonderful is invested in it (I usually don't buy into celebrity endorsements but Mr. Wonderful believes in the company and he doesn't invest in something he would lose money in. Also he did mention MindMed to Cathie Wood in a four panel interview on CNBC a week or two ago. So possible Cathie Wood interest after listing) 5 Nasdaq listing allows more money to flow in (after April 27 robinhood retards can throw YOLO money into it) 6 I like the Stock and sector specific subs like r/PsychedelicBets are growing very fast given their youth. The only disclaimer is that I am not a financial advisor and this would've been a YOLO post if I didn't lose so much money on stupid PLTR calls Mods plz this is my first legit post here ever submitted by /u/scrodent [link] [comments]

A lot of people are worried about higher inflation and higher capital gains taxes. My question is, which stocks are most at risk, and which stocks are safest from the economic anxiety? My guess is that “overvalued” growth stocks (such as tech) would be hurt the most by economic anxiety, while more stable dividend stocks (AT&T, Walmart, McDonalds, Coca-Cola, et cetera). (\***Disclaimer: The purchase, sale, and use of psychedelic drugs is currently a Federal Offense and their consumption comes with great dangers when used in an uncontrolled environment.\**)* I have been following psychedelic research for many years now. And I am writing this post for anyone who is in the dark about the world-altering forces that are at play here. There are many articles written about psychedelics (as a cure for depression, anxiety, neurosis, addiction, etc.), but here is one that stands out to me personally: Psilocybin-occasioned mystical-type experience in combination with meditation and other spiritual practices produces enduring positive changes in psychological functioning and in trait measures of prosocial attitudes and behaviors (Some excerpts:) "both high-dose groups showed large significant positive changes on longitudinal measures of interpersonal closeness, gratitude, life meaning/purpose, forgiveness, death transcendence, daily spiritual experiences, religious faith and coping, and community observer ratings." "Psilocybin can occasion enduring trait-level increases in prosocial attitudes/behaviors and in healthy psychological functioning." I don't know if these sorts of posts are allowed here, but let me say... I grew up in one of the worst kind of environments you can imagine here in the US. I've been disabled my entire life with multiple disabilities. I've been through absolute hell for most of my life. I dropped out in the 6th grade, but I've always been one of the "smart kids", I just hated my school environment. FF to now, I recently got into trading on the market. I've never been able to really get or hold a job, I've been scraping by on less than $1000 a month for all of my life. I've been making at least $20 a day with a $5000 account with paper trading over a month now with a system I follow. I have about $5000 IRL to trade with, I feel fucking shook y'all. The idea of having security, of the absence of fear surrounding not having a roof over my head, or food to eat is almost too much to bear. I've never had this the entire 35 years I've been on this planet. How do you even deal with this much potential joy after years and years of anxiety and depression? I'd be happy just making a tiny bit extra, the thought of making $20+ a day is just nauseating. submitted by /u/UntamedAnomaly [link] [comments]

I am no expert, but the value truly does seem to be there. $6 stock at the moment, but they were as high as $81 before June 2020 (around the Q2 reports, which were not good due to the virus, and there was anxiety the virus would linger at the then rates of infection for much longer than it did). 38. Investing in psychedelics: a revolution in psychiatric medicine and mental healthcare (09/06/2021 - Reddit Stocks)
I have for you folks today a closer look at an entirely overlooked sector on the verge of breakout. These medicines possess the potential to address a ~$100 billion mental health treatment market, including treatment of previously incurable disorders such as cluster headaches, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, and Traumatic Brain Injuries. How many people do you know suffer from anxiety, depression, and addiction? How many people do you know who are addicted to opiates, or popping SSRI's and benzos like candy to deal with their problems? There is a better way. Anyone who has used psychedelic substances knows of their potential. Personally, I attribute Psilocybin with helping me to end 5 years of poly drug abuse in 2009 after a single trip. I've been 99.9% sober for the past 12 years. Sitting to my left is my beautiful newborn daughter Aurora, something that I previously would have never thought possible. Meanwhile nearly 20 of my classmates and friends are dead in the wake of the opioid epidemic. Underground medical psychedelic use is exploding in popularity. Look at communities such as r/microdosing (https://subredditstats.com/r/microdosing) which have sustained steady growth and interest in the past few years. More studies need to be completed on microdosing in particular, but the anecdotal results look promising. I see people making a lot of comparisons to the Cannabis industry. This is mostly unwarranted as the majority of that industry is focused on recreational use, and Cannabis is a single plant, albeit with many active compounds. Psychedelic medicine encompasses far more molecules, which are objectively more powerful psychoactives, and have a far greater potential for medical application. These stocks have been battered like most growth stocks have. But in my opinion they represent the biggest investment opportunity of this entire generation. Not just potential for insane returns, but also potential to revolutionize psychiatric medicine and how we approach mental health as a society. These molecules have incredible characteristics as empathogens (empathy promoting), promoting neural plasticity (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6149016/) and even promoting neurogenesis (regrowth of neurons in the brain (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6082376/)). Not only is the science elucidating innumerable anecdotal benefit reports, the sector is looking at major catalysts as more and more positive mainstream media press rolls in, and decriminalization efforts sweep the nation unbeknownst to many. Global mental illnesses are reaching all-time highs, and were only exacerbated by the pandemic. These include anxiety, depression, addiction, PTSD, and more. ATAI, the world's largest psychedelics company by market cap, is set to IPO imminently. When Compass Pathways, the 2nd largest psychedelics company IPO'd last year, the sector rallied tremendously in tandem. MAPS' Phase III clinical trial using MDMA to treat PTSD will likely achieve FDA approval by 2023 at the latest, and will be available to be implemented at existing psychedelic clinic infrastructure. Their previous Phase III trial was published in the prestigious Nature Medicine medical journal and showed astounding results, permanently curing 68% of the non-placebo group of their official PTSD diagnoses: https://www.nature.com/articles/s41591-021-01336-3 Compass Pathways is currently running the world's largest study on Psilocybin to date, in a Phase IIa trial for treatment resistant depression. Results are expected before the end of 2021. It's basically a near GIVEN that these treatments are both safe and effective (See below studies). Imagine knowing a clinical trial's outcome before it's even completed...that's what we have here. Meanwhile, independent studies are already proving Psilocybin's efficacy for treating depression: https://www.imperial.ac.uk/news/219413/magic-mushroom-compound-performs-well-antidepressant/ https://microdose.buzz/new-hopkins-study-finds-psilocybin-4x-more-effective-than-ssri/ Clinics are already producing revenue via legal Ketamine therapy. How many people do you know that are aware of this? Some which I can't name are even producing SIGNIFICANT revenue. These companies are building the infrastructure now that will deliver legal MDMA and Psilocybin therapy. And they will be doing it before people even realize it's happening, as with Ketamine. Many psychedelic reform bills are garnering bipartisan support. Specifically MAPS' MDMA for PTSD treatment because it has massive support coming from veterans with PTSD. Republicans and Democrats alike agree on reducing suffering for veterans. Foundations like VETS (https://vetsolutions.org/work/) are pushing HARD for this. Many of these companies have been recently financed and are sitting comfortably on millions of dollars in cash positions. They will be able to weather a financial downturn. And if inflation proves transitory and interest rates continue to remain low, growth stocks will once again see massive tailwinds. Ultimately, science is proving what underground users already know: psychedelic medicine is safe and effective and more often than not it works with miraculous results. Pitch me a more noble and simultaneously lucrative cause than this. I believe so strongly in the future of psychedelic medicine that I'm pretty much all-in on a diversified basket of these companies. Investing in psychedelics now will get you a front row seat to the festivities as decriminalization efforts sweep the nation and the world, and research results continue to be massively positive. Meanwhile investors are sleeping on this industry. Here is a shared spreadsheet of every single US psychedelic stock company and ticker that I am aware of, for you to make your own decisions: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1eDRCBJp1KcIKusFkxdDHNJMaH7lRqyl_asTYcuc68AA/edit#gid=0 Come join us at /r/ShroomStocks for further industry focused news and discussion. Could Shrooms be the next hot industry? Mental health awareness is finally getting more recognition after Covid. Shrooms can be treated to treat disorders like anxiety and depression. Mind Medicine (backed by Shark Tank's Kevin O Leery) just got approved to be listed on the Nasdaq next week. Peter Theil's backed ATAI will IPO soon as well. Is this industry boom just getting started or has it already boomed? What are your thoughts? I know there are plenty of pharma stocks if you want to invest in mental health. But Shrooms kinda has that "oompf" in a market where people chase momentum and crave stocks that are "sexy" (kinda like the weed stocks). Disclosure: I am long Mind Medicine and Numi Wellness and could see this go either way submitted by /u/Take_Notice_Walk [link] [comments]

  42. ????????Investing in psychedelic medicine: cash in while simultaneously HELPING MILLIONS OF PEOPLE WHO ARE SUFFERING FROM MENTAL ILLNESS???????? (09/06/2021 - Reddit Stocks)
First of all, I'm not here to pump or promote any single stock. Yes, I know what happened with that one stock. In my opinion that's not the best play here anyways, not even close. Anyways, I have for y'all today a closer look at an entirely overlooked SECTOR on the verge of breakout. And these medicines possess not only the potential to address a ~$100 billion mental health treatment market, including treatment of previously incurable disorders such as cluster headaches, PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder), and TBI (Traumatic Brain Injuries). And how many people do you know suffer from anxiety, depression, and addiction? Here is a shared spreadsheet of every single US psychedelic stock company and ticker that I am aware of, for you to make your own decisions: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1eDRCBJp1KcIKusFkxdDHNJMaH7lRqyl_asTYcuc68AA/edit#gid=0 PS - I'm on a microdose right now as I wrote this all this morning. Love you all. Good luck and godspeed. One small trip for man, one giant trip for mankind. submitted by /u/AeonDisc [link] [comments]

  44. Will there be a big COVID induced crash soon? I know it’s impossible to predict the market but just curious... (18/04/2021 - Reddit Stock Market)
I’m no economic expert but it just seems weird that the covid crash was so short lived. I guess that was because the us gov bailed out the economy with billions in stimulus. And now the markets are at all time highs. It seems weird that after more than a year of millions dying and millions not working and productivity down because the world went into hibernation, yet the stock market and other markets immediately went so high again like nothing bad ever happened. I know the federal reserve probably did this to prevent a big depression. It just feels like an artificial high and that all of that covid terribleness will catch up finally to the markets and the free gov money will stop and then things will crash. Is it possible that something terrible can happen like covid and the gov prints lots of free money and there will never be a crash caused by this pandemic, and that a future inevitable crash will be caused by something else? Has there ever been something like this in USA history, like a great flu in USA back in like the 1900s or 1800s and the government bailing out the economy and then it crashing or the government just letting it crash without a bailout? Or maybe that covid was something that affected the whole world it is different than something that just mainly takes place in America like the housing crisis or the dot com boom? Will it be a sudden big crash or a slow downturn? Again, I’m a complete amateur when it comes to economics and know no one can predict markets like the stock market, but these are my thoughts (mainly regarding the USA economy because I live here and I don’t know much about markets in other countries). How about your thoughts? submitted by /u/poopyfacemcpooper [link] [comments]
