1.Mara has more cash flow than riot Mara market cap is 4.1 billion and riot is 3.5 billion MARA hash rate is 10.36 EH/S vs riot 3.8 EH/s Since Mara has 5x more hash rate that means they are bringing 5x more bitcoin in a day than RIOT MARA mines about 55-60 Bitcoin per day not to sure about RIOT but I know they are behind and too late to catch up on MARA When bitcoin is at $55,000 their revenue off bitcoin is 94 mill a month. If bitcoin reaches 100,000 it has ability to make 400 million a month. 42. Are Elon Musk tweets on stocks legal? Can't they be considered market manipulation? (24/02/2021 - Reddit Stock Market)
Disclaimer: this is merely a newbie question, and in no way a critic or assumption to the person in question Over the last months, Elon Musk tweets have caused sudden changes on the stock market: tsla, GameStop, Etsy, bitcoin, dogecoin to name a few, rising ~10% in a matter of hours. This makes it extremely easy for Musk to win money by taking advantage of the markets situation and buy low / sell high in a manner of hours. Now, this type manipulation already existed to a certain extent, but never in such a rapid change, and much less with such direct public exposure at social media. Couldn't this be considered market manipulation? What's exactly stopping him, or any other "highly influential person" from just keeping on tweeting a random company every month, do some tradings of its own and, in a way, take advantage of people who follow his advice blindly? submitted by /u/OVRLDD [link] [comments]
