  2. Company Lawsuits (09/06/2021 - Reddit Stocks)
Is anyone else sick of lawyers outright stealing money invested? Everyday I get an alert of this law firm is suing x company I own shares in for stockholder benefit. This may be way off topic as I am not talking about any specific stock or position but feel it is very relevant and the most related reddit location. I feel like we as retail investors are getting fleeced not only by large institutional shareholders but by large law firms that always seem to sue ‘on behalf of shareholders’ and I know nothing i can do about it. In the thousands of letters ive received either electronically or via actual mail I dont think Ive received one stamps worth of actual money back although I have seen the millions in legal expenses companies I own stock in pay out to defend, pay or settle. I wish there was a law firm out there that would start suing the other law firms for their litigious nature and theft without any return of monetary compensation to the shareholders they are suing on behalf. submitted by /u/JGDen [link] [comments]

  5. Stocks and companies that make internet bots (06/06/2021 - Reddit Stocks)
I’m wondering about the industry that is “internet bots” I.e people who buy followers, likes, comments, streams, YouTube views, etc etc. I know it is a multimillion dollar industry with demand increasing. Although it is a questionable practice it seems to be unstoppable and (sadly) a legit marketing strategy. Does anyone know which software companies are involved in creating these bots? Or cresting the algorithms? Just a thought I had about a possible tech investment, ya know just trying to predict the future & shxt. submitted by /u/eucatree [link] [comments]

I found an article on top intressting subjects for the future, and the article was from 2016. One of the top things that cought my eyes was this. Virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) are not new concepts but will revolutionize the world within 5 years. AR enhances reality while VR helps us forget it. Together, they open a world beyond reality, the internet or the internet of things; a new industry, the internet of experiences, is emerging. With the most recent investment in MagicLeap, the VR/AR industry is set to reach $150 Billion by 2020. As VR and AR technologies improve and more content becomes available for users, human experience of technology will change forever. And this got me to thing that I have missed something or have I? I dont even know what companies to even search for to begin with cuz its not really my field of knowlage. Would appreciate any kind of help on companies withing this field that has big potential and information on how the future om this subject look? Have a good day everyone! submitted by /u/BaresK [link] [comments]

For me I think it is all about money. Apple earns almost nothing from advertising, most of which goes to Google and Facebook and therefore does not care about ads at all. I think Apple's vision of the internet is that people will pay to use the internet. That fee is pretty used to fund the internet, much like ads fee is doing right now (we pay Google to organize the Internet for us and help us search for information). submitted by /u/alphab5429 [link] [comments]
