Popular opinion: Add Nvidia into the FAANG.

Reddit Stocks

21/07/2021 - 23:49

Nvidia, the Skynet in the future with a CEO who is beyond intelligent and as a motivated as papa Elon, should be added to FAANG. Before Nvidia becomes Skynet and build terminators that will blow Earth to hell, we should at least recognize Nvidia's greatness with their innovative A.I. Their arm deal will be just the beginning, cause this company will not only travel to Jupiter but will do so in different timelines. submitted by /u/gorays21 [link] [comments]

  1. Unpopular opinion: Remove Netflix from FAANG. It doesn't even compare to the other names in that acronym. (21/07/2021 - Reddit Stocks)
I think Netflix should be replaced with Microsoft, considering Netflix has a much lower market cap than Microsoft, and the fact that Netflix isn’t as diversified in different sectors and products, like how Microsoft is. I just don’t think Netflix has as much to offer and that is doesn’t deserve to be in FAANG. If Microsoft were to replace Netflix is FAANG, what should FAANG’s new name be? FAAMG? FAGMA? submitted by /u/Kursk-1943 [link] [comments]

  2. Do you believe in NASDAQ / FAANG companies outperforming the world market? (23/07/2021 - Reddit Stocks)
Do you believe in FAANG companies outperforming the world market? Hey guys i have an all world as my main etf and i want to invest a small percentage into the NASDAQ 100. Since FAANG is 50% in this Index i want your opinion on it. I really see Facebook, google, microsoft, apple and amazon beeing strong. I only struggle that Netflix is going to do well. They lose subscribtions (covid not a thing anymore) but they might get more in winter because people stay home more. They start a small side business in gaming but i dont expect much from it. What do you think? Will the NASDAQ 100 still beat the World Index like Vanguard All World? How would u rate the Index and the top positions oft he FAANG companies? We need Microsoft, Tesla, and NVIDIA in the FAANG department. It's time. I'm a MANA T FAN (a manatee fan, for the mnemonic) Microsoft Apple Netflix Amazon Tesla Facebook Alphabet NVIDIA It might be dumb, but it's memorable, and I'm heavily invested in all of them (happy to provide proof) well and beyond all other stocks, outside of Shop, which I guess could be added too: MANA T FANS. submitted by /u/SlutMuppetLives [link] [comments]

  5. You’ve heard of FAANG, I present to you MAGA (07/07/2021 - Reddit Stocks)
Microsoft Apple Google Amazon I always thought Microsoft deserved to be in the FAANG group. And I removed FB and Netflix because I’m personally not crazy about them for the long haul. FB is not as popular with the younger generations and I feel will have some legislation heaped on them in the future. I think the other streaming services will continue to chip away at Netflix’s lead, and their debt always concerned me. Neither are bad companies, but I just don’t feel they are as strong as the MAGA core I presented. submitted by /u/gunsoverbutter [link] [comments]

  6. Would you rather? (24/04/2021 - Reddit Stock Market)
Would you rather have 1 share of Amazon or 5 shares of Nvidia? I have a IRA with Wells Fargo. I have a variety of Shares in GOOGL, GOOG, Microsoft, APPL, and Amazon. Wondering what people's thoughts on EOY is for something like Amazon and Nvidia. Amazon is sitting around $3300. End of the year possibly could be $4000. So $700ish gain from today if it were to sit around $4000 on December 31, 2021. Now there's Nvidia. Currently sitting around $600. End of the year possibly could be $750ish. So $150ish gain for 1 share So 1 share of Amazon gains you $700. 5 shares of Nvidia could be $750. Now look these are just estimates. They could be spot on they could be way off. Amazon could end the year at $4500. Nvidia could end at $1000. Who knows. All I'm asking is would you rather have 1 share of Amazon or 5 shares on nvidia? Or maybe you have another interest. If not amazon if not nvidia what would you rather have if not either or. I'm only asking because I like both companies but Amazon has been idling for 9 months at the same prices. Nvidia has gained significantly. They both have Alot of potential. Something in my gut tells me Nvidia has more growth than Amazon. Like 5 years later maybe 5 shares of Nvidia nets you more than 1 share of Amazon starting today. Sorry about the 5 paragraph essay and my rambling. Hit me with some conversation please and thank you. submitted by /u/SeanEazy [link] [comments]

  7. Is Intel INTC undervalued? (10/03/2021 - Reddit Stocks)
Hedge funds are buying, insiders are buying, they probably have some price reduction due to AMD and Nvidia being so popular and taking away the shine. They are trading at about 12x P/E compared to Nvidia which is 50x and the industry avg which is about 25x there CEO has invented chip tech not just a businessman, also started a company that did really well and got sold to Dell and the Glass Door reviews are also pretty good. The company’s push deeper into data centre computing has raised the risk of conflict with some of its own customers, who design their own CPUs. They include Amazon, which has developed a high-powered Arm chip known as Graviton for use in Amazon Web Services. Intel stock was down more than 4% today, while Nvidia stock rose more than 5%. 18. NVIDIA Launches Omniverse Design Collaboration and Simulation Platform for Enterprises (12/04/2021 - Reddit Stocks)
NVIDIA today announced the coming general availability of NVIDIA Omniverse™ Enterprise, the world’s first technology platform that enables global 3D design teams working across multiple software suites to collaborate in real time in a shared virtual space. NVIDIA Omniverse Enterprise makes it possible for 3D production teams — which are often large, diverse in skills and geographically dispersed — to work seamlessly together on complex projects. Rather than requiring in-person meetings or exchanging and iterating on massive files, designers, artists and reviewers can work simultaneously in a virtual world from anywhere, on any device. NVIDIA Omniverse Enterprise has been in early evaluations with some of the world’s most sophisticated design teams at companies like BMW Group, Foster + Partners and WPP. It follows the launch three months ago of an open beta for individuals, which has been downloaded by nearly 17,000 users. https://nvidianews.nvidia.com/news/nvidia-launches-omniverse-design-collaboration-and-simulation-platform-for-enterprises submitted by /u/gorays21 [link] [comments]

  28. Who's going FAANG next? (16/02/2021 - Reddit Stocks)
TSLA already went FAANG. Up 13x in the last two years and approaching the $1T mark. I’m not saying it’s too late to invest in TSLA, but it’s too late to get rich investing in TSLA. Help me identify which companies could go FAANG next? Not looking for get rich quick, rather I’m looking for companies who are changing the world. Companies that could grow 10x over the next 10 years. Before diving into the financial DD, here are the criteria I’m considering. On the leading edge of a revolution. Run by great, forward thinking leaders. Continue to pivot and add new features to fuel growth. Market Cap under or around $100B. Here are three companies that make my short list. These companies all started with a relatively small idea but then continued to pivot into a revolutionary idea. ROKU – Leader in the Cord Cutting Revolution. Started as a simple hardware company, then developed software integrated into smart TVs and now takes a cut of all advertising on their platform. Mkt Cap = $60B SHOP – Leader in the Online Retail Revolution. Started as a simple e-commerce platform for small business, then built a fulfillment network and now integrating with major players such as Walmart and Facebook Marketplace. Mkt Cap = $175B SQ – Leader in Payment Processing Revolution. Started as a simple mobile credit card reader, then to full point of sale system and now leading the way in peer-to-peer transactions with the CashApp. Mkt Cap = $123B I’m not claiming to be early on any of these ideas, but they still haven’t gone FAANG. submitted by /u/AggravatingLog1977 [link] [comments]

With Nvidia being the creator of the GPU (Graphic Processing Unit), its benefitting from all the recent trends and ones to stay. Their chips are being used by industry leaders Amazon's AWS, Microsoft's Azure Cloud, Alphabet's Google Cloud, International Business Machines' IBM Cloud, and Alibaba Cloud. Their GPUS are crucial in the success of AI. Everyone is trying to develop their own AI processor but at this point, the GPU is still the go to for both researchers and data centers wanting to run AI and other sophisticated algorithms. For example, it will supply NIO the electric vehicle car company in China with its chips for its newest sedan the ET7. Another reason why everyone should own Nvidia stock is because of their GRACE CPU. Although Intel holds 90% of the CPU market, their GRACE CPU now will have 10 times the performance of any leading CPU on the market! Theres more details in the video i made below. Just wanted everyone to be aware of what Nvidia is doing and why it may be worth either having on your watch list or a stock to own. In addition they are also doing a 4 to 1 stock split on July 19th which will make each share valued at roughly $150 according to todays stock price. https://youtu.be/n5alFa4QNm8 submitted by /u/gagan45678 [link] [comments]

I live nearby and like to pass by companies HQ to get a true feel for the company. Just drove by Nvidia and wow! Beats the competition by miles! I'd go long on this company. 49. Thinking about Nvidia (26/05/2021 - Reddit Stocks)
Wondering if I should buy some shares of Nvidia. I have a large amount of cash sitting on the side just waiting for the right stock. There seems to be a lot of positive reasons to buy this stock and its a 22-2 bullish amongst analyst. I missed the boat on Apple and Tesla which both did a stock split and the stock continued to grow for a couple of months after the split.
